INVICTUS is a semi-appless roleplay with tabletop roleplaying game features. Although a template is provided, players must fill out additional information regarding their character’s powers as well as complete a stat spread for their application. Below is a step-by-step guide for our application process.

STEP ZERO

Please take a moment to review the The New Applicant’s Guide to INVICTUS and get acquainted with our lore and roleplay structure.

INVICTUS is a plot‑driven hybrid roleplay that unfolds across both Tumblr Dashboard and Community as well as Discord, blending narrative storytelling with strong TTRPG elements that all players are encouraged to participate in. Our roleplay’s themes satirize celebrity obsession, justice and heroism in a broken system, as well as hypercapitalism in the digital age. By sending in an application, all prospective players agree that they may be asked to rework aspects of their muse’s power, backstory, et al. to incorporate within our roleplay’s narrative or gameplay.

For muses are that are known by the public at large under an alias are actively being investigated by the F.B.A.I. for vigilantism associated with an organization, and are knowingly breaking the law by fighting crime without being a registered steward.

It is player choice if they are the registry or not. If they are on the registry, these muses may have lied about or otherwise made their permutation seem less impressive during their [National Stress Reflex Tests](<https://rpmains.notion.site/National-Stress-Reflex-Tests-00abea10c0e4820fa9c9014437c7170b>) to get a lower rank or registered as a different power.. However, players must make it clear that this is the case in the Power section of their application and what their rank/power should actually be vs what they are listed as on registry in-universe/the template.
